Youtube in 2020

This year started a little different from my previous ones. I’ve always wanted to start a youtube or be involved more into the “youtube editing” realm, knowing the workload would be quite heavy. But I figured it was the time to push myself to see what my limits were and I took that chance to start one with some friends! 2020 will be a test on how much work I can push out while maintaining a consistent experience. So far I’m loving this journey because I’m able to keep my skills constantly refreshed, I learn more about how youtube/ marketing runs, and I’m picking up a few more editing skills while doing it. My goal is to replace my current full time job completely, so I am able to work on not just youtube but on more larger scale video/editing jobs in the future!

Just last week we launched our brand SuperPulls, a tcg (trading card game) unboxing/ challenge channel. Our goals are to pull in a selected target audience and eventually grow our channel into something much bigger than trading cards. SuperPulls is for the kids. Hopefully we can gain some traction and reach our goal of 1000 subscribers this year, something I believe we can actually surpass! If Trading Cards are your jam check us out here.

Reminiscing summer

With cold weather like this we forget how nice summer can be.

Stratus - Revisited

It’s been a month… But I’m here to share the night of stratus with some moody carousels. I haven’t shot a ton of black and white film but I was lucky enough to raffle this lovely Kodak TMAX 3200 and try it out for the night. I was stupid happy how they turned out because I was sure I made the mistake of being down 4 stops, so that tells me either this film is forgiving or that the person who processed them managed to save them (thank you if you did). Definitely will be trying this one on some larger scale projects.

Stratus - Japan on Film

A short clip of Actually Alright Cooking that I may or may not come back to… Was an attempt at a high action Schiffer edit.

Ideas 3 times.

For a while I’ve been wanting to start some sort of youtube channel but I’ve been struggling on what type of content I wanted to create. I figured that I have all the tools to create something yet coming up with the idea has had me stumped. Hopefully I can figure something out soon and it doesn’t come off corny…

With all the film content I’ve been shooting, it was kind of nice to hop back on digital for a project. I always enjoyed working on cinematic cuts and can’t wait to be doing more.
