Quarantine Pickup

Hello,

I know it’s been a while… I picked up blender during quarantine and I’m happy to say that I have been enjoying it. I can’t remember the last time I have felt so excited to learn a new program and I’m extremely pleased at myself for sitting down to learn the basics of this overwhelming application. For those who don’t know blender is the free and open source 3D creation suite. It supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline—modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, video editing and 2D animation pipeline. It’s been just a couple months of learning but I’m here to share some of the projects I’ve created along with some secret projects :)

A first attempt at procedurally generated bump maps and creating landscapes.

A near finished replica of the Hasselblad 500cm. Wanted to practice creating real life objects and mess with different texture methods. I will be sharing my finished results on Instagram in the upcoming weeks.
